"Pressured into thing I didn’t want to do "
I met a guy on tinder, we had hung out before in a group setting and things seemed to be good. During this time I had told him multiple times that I’m asexual and don’t do one night stands. After the first hang out a girl he was related to invited me over to hang out with them. When I got there the girl and her bf left leaving me and this guy by ourselves… I had a drink so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving and I also didn’t feel comfortable staying, it was late and no one I knew was awake. I tried to stay on my phone to keep him from kissing me but I felt bad that I was being kinda mean and just kissed him back (I wish I wasn’t a pushover) after I broke away from the kiss and rolled around to be on my phone again he started to touch me. I didn’t know what to do and my whole body was tense and I felt like I couldn’t move. I finally just got up and told him i had to leave… I drove to an old friends house nearby and knocked on his door and stayed there for the night (driving drunk is the dumbest thing people can do so that why I went there instead of my house that was 20 min away). The next couple of weeks were weird. For some reason I wanted to talk to him still, I knew that I didn’t like him and I didn’t feel comfortable talking to him but it felt like I owed him something now for some reason or like I couldn’t just stop talking to him. I felt disgusting for being touched and even tho it wasn’t that bad it felt like I was nothing more than a piece of meat. It hurt especially bad because it almost felt like my fault, I could’ve left earlier if I wanted, but I didn’t. It makes me angry at me. I grew up Mormon so I’ve been trying to break out of that mindset of “serving the man”. Regardless, I still have problems with what happened to this day… it feels like my feelings towards society and men have just gotten worse and i don’t know how to deal with the constant objectification I feel. It’s everywhere. Movies, ads, social media, and in everyday life. I hate being looked at with a lustful eye. And I hate that as a someone who didn’t feel sexual desires I experience so much unconsensual sexualization. It makes me hate being a woman.
