A beautiful mural with Latinx themes was defaced by xenophobic spray painters - writing frases like ‘go home’ and ‘brown invasion’. The TikTok showed two artists (hired by the park that is home to the mural) fixing the mural in less than 24hrs. Before they got there the park had put some tape over the offensive words, which is pretty cool. Hate has no place in NYC parks!
